Joanne Weaver

Joanne was born in Kent in 1968. She spent 23yrs as a qualified nurse before following her passion and studying a part time fine art degree at Canterbury UCA. She now works in her Sutton Valence studio often but not always makes work relating to the human condition. She has exhibited in London, being selected for several open competitions including Threadneedle 2012, Shape Open 2015 and RBA Mall 2017
Joanne teaches weekly art classes to adults in Staplehurst and also hosts various workshops from her studio with visting artists runing masterclasses.

Joanne will be organising the 1st En Plein Air Kent event at Hole Park later this year.
